From initial design through to installation, the studio creates sacred sculpture, altarpieces, sanctuaries and chapels for the liturgical life of churches and monasteries.
The workshop is a multi-disciplinary practice producing orginal works in terracotta, plaster, composite materials, bronze, wood, stone and marble, with experience in enhancing existing sacred spaces and designing new.
Sacred art is created with the aim of “evoking and glorifying, in faith and adoration, the transcendent mystery of God – the surpassing invisible beauty of truth and love made visible in Christ.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2502)
Become involved through apprenticeships, regular workshops and individual tuition, with instruction on drawing and sculpting the human figure, anatomy and drapery.
